Happy Halloween
This afternoon we got Max dressed up in his Turkey Halloween Costume. It was the first time I was able to get all pieces of the costume on him at once. He wasn't the biggest fan of the turkey hat as you can see so eventually we had to ditch that. He managed to stand the outfit for about 2 hours. We cruised the neighborhood while he hung out in his wagon and then handed out candy. It was a pretty slow trick or treating night due to the weather, but we still had fun.

Brrrrr.....
Since we got Mook about 5 years ago, we've spent almost every Saturday and Sunday morning at the dog park. Most of the time Mike and I are sweating, Mook can hardly breathe, and Max's hair is sopping wet because of the heat; however, this weekend was much different. It was only about 62 each morning which called for breaking out some of the warmer clothes. I had to snap some pics because I felt like Max looked so different in pants and sweatshirts. He's spent the majority of his life in shorts and tshirts :)

11 Months
I swear I put Max to bed and the next morning he wakes up longer, with more hair, and with the ability to do something new. Every month goes by faster than the last. Everyday he does something that he didn't do the day before. Here's what he's been up to lately:
- grabs at his diaper when it's wet, but still goes crazy when you try to change him
- wears size 4 diapers
- has 6 teeth (4 on top and 2 on the bottom)
- wants to walk so bad
- stands up in his crib
- tries standing up in the bath tub (which mommy really dislikes)
- doesn't give up when it comes to chasing the cat and dog
- wearing 12 - 18 month clothes
- pulls my hair and laughs

Grandma Sandy came to visit
Mike & I wanted to go to a concert in Orlando, but needed someone to watch Max overnight. Luckily we found a cheap ticket for Grandma Sandy so she flew down to watch Max for us. It was my first time away from Max overnight which was tough, but I had piece of mind knowing that he was in good hands.
They just had a blast together. Grandma Sandy bought Max this awesome wagon to make it easier for us to take Max with on Mookie's walks.
See you soon Grandma!
