Sickness = Sleepiness

An evil sinus infection attacked our circle of life. I got the sinus infection first and then passed it to Mike, Max, Aunt Susie, Uncle Tony, Lisa, and Mike D. Then I got it again!!! It was the first time in 6 years that Mike and I were sick at the same time. It was quite the challenge both being sick and still taking care of Max. Luckily, he takes after mommy and likes to nap :) It was a pretty lazy weekend. We never left the house.

New developments in the playmat

Today Max and I were in the circle playing and reading. All of a sudden he discovered how to get out of the circle! Not sure if you can tell from his face or not, but he was laughing on the way out. I think life is going to get a bit more difficult for a soon because he is going to be on the move. All the excitement must have made him sleepy because he passed out all weird.

7 MONTHS

 

Not only was today father's day, but it was also Max's 7 month bday. It's just so insane how each month flies by. He's added 2 words to his vocabulary, can sit up on his own, and although he hasn't mastered crawling yet he can scoot to whatever it is he wants.

Father's Day

Today we celebrated Mike's first father's day. The majority of the day was pretty relaxed for Mike. I let him nap while I cleaned the house. I gave him a break from chores for a day :) Afterwards we headed out to the Rustic Inn for crabs. Good thing it was loud in there because Max cried most of the time. When he finally would fall asleep he'd quickly be woken up by others hammering their crabs. We think he's teething which is leading to the unhappiness. Poor little guy. We still had a great time enjoying each others company and some yummy food.

 

Racheal's Getting Married

Tonight was the rehearsal dinner for my friend Racheal's wedding. My 2 favorite guys were dressed in their best and hung out while I participated in the rehearsal. Then we headed home for some rest in preparation for Racheal & Tim's big day.
