Max with his race car walker

These days Max just LOVES being held in the standing up position. We think he might skip crawling and just go straight to walking. I figured we'd try out the race car walker that he got from our good friend Betsey. He was a little unsure at first, but in just a few minutes he was scooting along.





After all the playing he passed out with his toy and one sock on, one sock off.

We try sweet potatoes

When Max had his 4 month check up, the doctor said that we should try adding some orange veggies to help with his # 2 issues. During our first try with the sweet potatoes he wasn't very happy and almost looked concerned about what I was trying to do to him.



However, during our second try, I made funny noises and faces and Max seemed to like it a lot better.

4 Months

Time is just flying by. Max is 4 months old today. Here's what he's been up to:
*rolling
*"talking"
*loves when he's in the sitting and standing positions
*eating 6oz every 4 hours (except at night when he's sleeping for 9 hours!)
*wearing 3-6 months clothes
*loving the rainforest jumparoo
*smiling at Mike, me, & Mook

Weight - 13.2 pounds (25th percentile)
Height - 26 inches (80th percentile)

He's a string bean!

 

Pizza Night

Tonight Mike D, Lisa, Madison and Fran came over. The boys made pizza from scratch, the kiddo's hung out, and the moms chatted. All was followed by homemade zeppoli's. It was a ton of fun and the food was fantastic.

 

Mommy is 29!

Today was my birthday. This will be the last year of my 20's and that seems pretty crazy! Tonight we headed to my favorite restaurant / Mike's least favorite restaurant, the Olive Garden. Based on the look on Max's face I don't think he's the biggest fan either. Lol. It was a great birthday!

Tonight we were practicing sitting in the bumbo chair. Max just couldn't stop staring at the fan.

Both Guys are Sleeping

I had a dentist appointment after work today so I got home a little later than normal. Both guys were sleeping when I got home.

Max & Madison Nap Together

Our friends, Mike & Lisa, came over tonight with their daughter Madison. While the adults enjoyed some yummy food made on our new grill, the kids napped together in the pack and play. Everything was going well until one of them started crying and woke up the other one who then started crying. There was a bit of competition to see who could yell louder :)

Grandma Sandy, Aunt Jenn, Uncle Ben and counsins Vivi & Owen were in town so we all get together for some family photos.

 

Sitting up

Max loves sitting up and looking around. He looks like such a big boy. Ignore the fact that his outfit on the right totally doesn't match...his daddy dressed him that day :)
