10 Months
Max is 10 months old today. In just 2 short months, we'll be celebrating his first birthday. Here's what he's been up to lately:
- goes NUTS when it's time for a diaper change
- wears size 4 diapers
- continues to sleep through the night
- eats 3 solids a day & 32 oz of formula (but still remains a string bean)
- has finally mastered the "regular" crawl, but prefers to "army" crawl
- talks A LOT even though we have no idea what he's saying
- dances and / or claps his hands whenever music comes on
- waives bye-bye, but not necessarily when someone is leaving :)
- pulls himself up on everything
- walks while holding your hand or behind his bus
- has 3 teeth
- loves mommy & daddy

Go Hokies!
This afternoon we went to Bru's room to watch the VT game with the alumni association. Even though it's allowed and tons of people do it, I'm not the biggest fan of taking Max to the bar, so we comprised by sitting in the corner as close to the family section as we could but still being able to watch the game. I'm glad we went. It was a fun time and Tech won!

Sleeping like mommy
When I was a baby I frequently slept like this. So this morning when I walked in and I saw Max "sleeping like mommy" I just had to snap a pic.

Mookie is such a good dog
Mookie doesn't always enjoy all the attention he get's from Max, but Max sure does love petting him. He can't fully say Mookie, but he says "Kie, Kie" as he pets him. It's super cute.

Gate
While Max hasn't mastered the typical crawling technique, he has mastered his own method of movement and boy is he fast. This past weekend was quiet the challenge. He was playing with some toys in the family room while I went to put some clothes in the washer. When I came back, he had crawled over to Mook's water bowl and dumped the entire thing on himself. This lead to a soaked and crying baby, wet floor, and ultimately the ordering of a gate. Max cried the entire time I was installing the gate. Now he just scratches as the gate trying to figure out a way to escape.

Max has a new friend
Tonight we had some friends over for pizza. Josh, Kerry, and Emmy are moving down from Atlanta. We can't wait until they are here permanently and we get to hang out regularly. Emmy & Max really seemed to get a long. Pretty soon they will be adding another addition to family!
