Naked Baby

It's post dinner time.  The family is relaxing and enjoying some TV.  The child is quiet and hiding on the side of the couch.  What could he be doing?  He appears naked!  He was quiet because he was concentrating on taking off his pants and his diaper.

This is why we don't go out in public

First trip to the beach

We woke up this morning and decided - we live in Florida...by the ocean...why haven't we taken our kid to the beach yet??? Probably because we are blindingly white, but whatever we decided to go anyway :) It look Max awhile, but he eventually warmed up to the sand. We couldn't convince him that the water was ok, but maybe we'll be able to do that next time.

New eating chairs

Along with new eating habits has come new eating chairs. For some reason, the highchair at regular height became an evil thing that caused my wonderful child to scream throughout dinner. So I got him a big boy chair and he loves it. Now his "high"chair has been lowered to a "low" chair and he loves just hanging out it in having a snack. All is good in the world of eating.

Juicing

For the last month, we've taken a new approach on our eating habits. We've removed all meat and most processed items from our diet. We've incorporated juicing fruits and vegetables. Max not only loves the actual juice. He loves the chore of juicing as well.

Interesting Behavior at the Dog Park

We aren't sure why, but Max does this thing where he leans his back up against stuff. He does it to the fence, trees, the garbage can, etc. Is it possible he's marking his territory?!?!

Happy Easter

What a fun and educational Easter basket from the Easter Bunny :)

In the evening we headed over to Grandma & Grandpa Killi's house for some yummy dinner.  I didn't do a very good job of taking pictures :( But it was a great time.  Max loved his Easter basket from them.

Egg Hunt

We headed out early this morning to pick up Grandma Killi and then off to the Easter egg hunt we were.  There were a ton of eggs, but they were picked up in just seconds.  Max was able to get 5 :) Next year he'll need to be faster or maybe we'll do a private egg hunt at home.

Dishes with Mommy

Max's new thing is that he has to see whatever we are doing on the counter.  That could be doing dishes, cooking, chopping fruit...whatever, he wants to see it.  The yelling was getting to me so I got out the step stool so he could see.  While he was up there I figured he should help!  I do the cleaning and does the rinsing (with a little help from mommy).

Daddy picked out my outfit today.  Can you tell? :)

Day 2 - Epcot

We tried a different approach today and headed out to the pool after breakfast. Max looked super cute in his new swim outfit; however, he HATED the pool. There were a lot of kids, a slide, water falls, water sprayer things, etc. I'm hoping that's why he didn't like it. He's a Florida kid. He's supposed to like the pool!

After the pool, we grabbed a quick lunch and then headed up for naps. Then it started it pouring down rain so we had extended naps :) Around 4 we headed out to Epcot for a few rides.

We went to "Mexico" for dinner. It took a little longer than Max would have liked so him and I headed out to the shopping area while Mike paid the bill. As usual he located the purses, found his favorite and then tried to run off with it. Mike joined us shortly and tried to replace the purse with a sombrero.

The highlight of the entire trip occurred as we were walking to "America" to have a funnel cake...we spotted a concert by the Spinners. Max absolutely loved it. He clapped, danced, and yelled with excitement. There would have been more video but Mike and I were laughing to hard to record anything else.
